I was told Pride and Prejudice is a romcom. So far, I see no "rom" and definitely no "com", especially when it comes to the main character Elizabeth.
Instead, by the events transpired, I feel overwhelmingly concerned for her. Without her permit, she is dealt cards by life she feels burdened by. Furthering her folly are her prejudice - born of pride and sisterly love. I could excuse her, but that'd be unfair to rest.

I get the feeling I've been lied to. Pride and Prejudice is many things but it's not what I was led to believe. I'm almost done now as I start chapter 58 and see the remaining pages barely be a few dozens. It won't be too long when I sit to read again.

Chapter 19. It feels like things are constantly getting bad in terms of perception of each other. All of this is going to bite back, I am confident. May each and every one (except Mr Bingley) get a rude awakening of how I'll-behaved they are.
Unfortunately, this includes even Mary. She's been mostly quiet and self involved so I didn't feel much either way. What a poor impression she created.

For now, despite getting spoilers even though I asked for none, I manage with Gemini.
I have made it past chapter 8, where I last quit. I'm happy about this. I'm finally making progress.
Also, Mrs Bennet gave me secondhand embarrassment. Especially considering how the sisters talk about their family.
