I'm already feeling thrown out of this book. Possums are adorable and I want to pet one (that is willing), but they can maaaaybe last 5 years domesticated while a raccoon can live up to 20. It makes no sense to alter and train possums vs raccoons given that. I dunno. I'm kinda thinking I'd rather re-read Redwall than this.
