I do not believe Holden really "hates" everything. He uses the word so frequently and freely that it lowk starts to lose it's intensity. Like I just don't think somebody who truly hates everyone as much as he claims would be constantly looking for interaction in the ways he does. He's just insecure and complaining makes him feel better. #Happens.
