Another thing about romantasy is “enemies to lovers” almost always start with the FMC internally lusting after the MMC who they supposedly loathe. This girl can’t look in his direction without slobbering which is wild

One thing these romantasy books love to do is start straight off with the MC hooking up with either their regular guy or a one night stand. Like we get it, there’s way too many virgins in this genre, but then there’s also just throwing it in our face that they have had lovers
