This feels similar to other coming-of-age horrors but so like it's own unique thing. I loved December Park and this one feels just a little darker and even maybe a little more magical. I also like the framing of the kids experiencing horror and returning to that horror as broken adults. Very IT but also... I don't know it doesn't feel like an IT rip off.
