So hard to read--what are the Jedi doing? They need to get their act together and appoint some Harry Callahans and Shadowmans, or else they and the galaxy will never survive. There's a whole big middle between being a psycho and a wimp; the Callahans and Shadowmans are in that middle.
When I start reading something, I read slower and update frequently. But my reading speed'll now pick up and my updates'll dwindle.

--Don't do it!! Are the Jedi crazy? They seriously need to talk to Captain Janeway in Star Trek about scorpions lol! I want a Star Trek/Star Wars crossover. I think I'd faint if I heard news about that!

Everything's such a mess at this time in Star Wars history. It's very sad, very dark. But, I knew this going in and accepted it years ago....

I bought this a few years ago, and I took too long to get to it. The story has started right off with being so disturbing and upsetting for a character--ugh. The Nihil are just horrible!! I soooo want to see them get what's hopefully coming to them. Light And Life to JLG! Not going to say who that is because that would spoil too much.

Oh my god No. 2--that woman is humping the Eye!!! What the hell is wrong with her? What a loon....Later: lol It's been several years since I read the earlier books in this series, and I'd forgotten that this woman was in the earlier books. I really can't stand her, along with the rest of them....
That was horrific--just horrible! So terribly sad.... But, this is also where I don't understand the Jedi and think they can be naive and foolish and too proud, though, granted, with the physical state someone was in, he couldn't think clearly, but he should have (view spoiler)
I hate when both Star Wars and Star Trek get so frigging dark, especially when it's marketed to kids!
But, as I've said before, I knew what was coming with this book, based on the previous ones....
I'm at 23%.

I'm at 14%. I just had to comment on that because it makes me sick! I can't stand when people switch sides and automatically back the winners because they're winning; to me, that makes those people losers. Selfish, shallow simpletons who can't be trusted. You back the "winners" when they're murderous psycho torturers?
