Okay, so a doctor wants to save her life by helping her have a child.

I have been so slow with this book that I am understanding some of the reviews about the pace of this being extremely slow.

So is it bad that I am feeling myself slow down with this book. I feel like I would enjoy this as an audio book but also I really want to commit to finishing this book (e-book format) without having to renew it one more time.

Wow…I am starting to feel absolutely chills while reading this. And also sadness.

Understanding Margaret Atwood’s writing is definitely a learning experience for me, but I really enjoy it. I wish I had a physical copy of the book because then I could annotate as I go. When it comes to classics, l love annotating and making notes in the process as it helps me understand key motifs and symbolism that she is trying to share.

Anyone else have been in a huge reading slump? I’ve just started a new job and also am in the process of moving next week, finding time to read has been so difficult!! But trying to force myself to read a little bit each day? Even if it is for 20 minutes only 😅

So let’s ignore that I am reading 4 books at the same time (including this one). I needed a genre change so bad and I realize that reading one genre (romance) put me back in a slump. Time for me to read this book because I am ready for something different and it was one of my favorite books I read long ago!
