So far so good. Motorcycle and kidnapping have me riveted. Chapters 1-3 coulda been done a little better. I have yet to be confused but I can't say I really understood the nature of the story until several chapters in. Ambiguous opening and... didnt actually realize that the MC was an author. despite the name *facedesks* until interrogation... twas somewhat irrelevant at the time. And it got significant too quick.
