There are only 8ish chapters in the entire book so each chapter is almost an hour long on audio. I spent a lot of time confused today while reading. I just don’t know where the story is supposed to go. The narrators voice is quite awesome

This has been quite different from any of my recent reads and I’m enjoying it on audio. I’m not being wowed by the writing (it’s very good but not most prestigious book award winning good or Nobel prize in literature good) I think the greatness will come as I continue though. We haven’t even gotten in the main plot yet it’s all been setting up the story so far so maybe I’m being critical too early

This is the actual book I had a hold for at the library (I mentioned in my update for the shippers) unfortunately this means I’m now reading like 5 different books 🫣 I might hybrid read this one as a physical book and an audiobook but we shall see
