Why did Santui disappear the whole time Saul is asleep and only when Saul is back does he appear also I called it like a page before he came back. Also insanely horrifying to have signed some govenrment papers only for said facility to built a replica of your HOUSE? This book is so beautiful and I'm hooked lined and sinkered.

Even though not all the prose lines are hitting hard, when they do, It's a lovely thing to trip on. I liked two in particular in succession nearby.
"... such a dull gang of windup men" to refer to smoked out union based construction workers and "a crackling swell of static" to a sign coming through a land line. Makes for crispy slick images in my mind.
