Thanks to Joe Abercrombie’s “First Law” series and gritty realism being my last fantasy read, I am afraid I can’t read Romantasy the same way. Tent scenes where characters magically smell like pine instead of unwashed hair and bad breath just feel ridiculous now. 😂😂😂 god I hope that goes away
