Wow, I have no words. Lowkey I predicted (accidentally) the father’s death before he died. I cried.
I knew she will be on a horse and leave the village, but still I felt sadness.
It was a good book, I like it. The romance literally formed the last 50 pages or so, but I mean this is a series, so I guess more romance on the second book?
I look forward to it, romance, who is the next villain and the story ☺️

The priest still irritates me, but I think he begins or maybe he will begin and realize that the one who is talking to him is not God but death.
The stepmother ugh I just can’t stand her, so annoying plus…is she trying to cheat with the priest?? Like I’m a little bit confused on that.
And as I’m almost at the end of the book, I wonder when will the romance begin? It is 3 book series though (I think)

The priest is irritating the hell of me, he thinks he is sooo righteous, a saint, a real God’s messenger, someone with no fault, no sin, looking beneath normal people. The devil controls him, he has sins and he does not want to acknowledge it, he fears.
And the stepmother sucks, I don’t like her and sometimes hate her 🙄
Tha father does not take a good route with his daughter, but understandable.

I like the way it’s written.
I like that we get in depth with other characters and not only with the main characters, as we get a clear idea of what kind of a person they are and what they each think, their personalities, etc…I like the big sister Olga, I understand how she feels without her saying it, just the way it’s written and you know how these characters feel

It is slow paced, I like that we read a little bit about the mother before she died.
I found the sentence “Vasilisa Petrovna was an ugly little girl” funny 😄 Normally they say “She was very pretty” or something, I quite wonder if she will become pretty as time goes.
Right now the part I read is about the father and his two sons, quite boring, but I will push through it little by little.
