I can’t believe Alice Walker was able to say so much in less than 250 pages. This is one that everyone can learn something from.

Tragedy. To be so full of life and not get to live it. To have to live for others and not yourself. To do everything you can just to survive a life that’s been written for you since the day you were born. It’s a heartbreaking novel, but one that must be read.
