Book has circled back around to the Dahlia case. Last 50 pages have been hard to put down. Only 30 more to go, but need sleep. Will finish tomorrow.

Once again the authors description of Tijuana makes you feel like you are actually in the Mexican streets in the late 1940’s. A very grim portrayal.

The Dahlia case becoming less of a focus as the book heads towards its conclusion.

Like reading a film noir. Good characters, very much get a feel of the time period, LA in the early 40’s. Lots of examples of how cops operated before there were Miranda warnings.
