Another example of a non-fiction book being afraid of politics. Food insecurity isn’t a problem of food insecurity, OR food preservation- it’s that food is thrown away to preserve profits, and not distributed to food-scarce places (food deserts, etc.). The problem is about people not being able to afford food, not about it not existing
