i'm extremely unhappy about the polyamorous four way bond. it's deeply problematic. what is even the point of this storyline? what is the point of Rand being in love with three different women? And if Min's visions are true, will father children with two of them? i really hate it. it does not serve the story in any way.

I KNEW IT. the man who saved Elayne's life in the "assassination" attempt was apart of it. they said the pan seemed complicated. it was evil Aes Sadai plot, that's why. i knew it, everything felt off. damn, Elayne is in serious danger, cause there's a black sister in the palace too. and WHY doesn't she want bodyguards? wtf? girl you are heir apparent, danger comes with job.

one thing i really appreciate about these books: they have genuine cultural struggles, and problems i genuinely don't know how they'll solve. i usually can see a clear path but there are several problems i'm really stumped on. good writing.
