Honestly, this is a LOT more tolerable in writing than listening to the audio. The FMC narrator honestly made writing sound so childish and trivial. There's other little things that I readjust in my head as I read but all in all I'm ready to be done with this and see what happens in the next one.

Alright, I'm spinning the block for a THIRD time. Because I often think about the story but honestly can't get through it and i think I'm starting to figure it out. She tends to repeat herself to make a point. I can't find an example but but she'll make a statement, then reiterate it in it next sentence, i guess to make sure you know how serious it is but I'm an adult, Callie,and my comprehension skills are on point.

Okay! This is where it starts getting good! Okay.
So I came back to reread this book because people kept saying things like "Oh yeah, Quicksilver was so good" and I always get this look on my face like "bruh" but I heard it enough times that I was like maybe I should check it out again. So I started it at about 50% (audiobook girlie cause I got a lotta kids) and it was still pretty boring until now
