Oh fuck. Farrier and his guys promised her the throne back in chapter 11 when Taranoke was conquered and given a new name. She’s been acting as a tool of empire to acquire the throne. She’s still attempting to personally seize power rather than organize to negotiate it. She’s a fool! Why does she think she can be Taranoke’s savior?!! She’s a fool!

Which one be hierarchic qualm???

Does she at least tell us why she did it because she’s moving around like it’s inevitable but I can’t understand why!

I can comfortably say this book has overtaken Infatuation by Jennifer Lyndon as my favorite book of the year. Just a masterclass in writing, sequencing and storytelling. I hope you get an adaptation. More people need to experience this.
