Great stuff here, but so far the whole is less than the sum of its parts. I will say it's darkly funny. Even the chilling monologue from am ex-IRA Provo, which comes down to "sure, I brutally murdered neighbors, needs must," and "shut up about this trauma shit" had funny parts. I like the author's attack on clichés and the concept that everyone had the same experience of and feelings about The Troubles.

I am enjoying the read, but I don't understand the choice to put the disappearance of an actress right at the beginning, and then just bring it up in passing. I like al the stories of other involved, but I cannot say I much care what happened to the disappeared woman other than the impact on production.
