I just can’t understand why she keeps saving him. I can assume, but the literature denies the reader any evidence that it’s actually what she’s thinking😭 if this book were just a touch more complex, and if we had just a little more internal monologue that had to do with her feelings about the decisions she was making, I might appreciate it more
