Goodness, the narrator is starting to really grate on me. I don't know what it is, but she's insistent on finding Sarah and the reasons feel entirely selfish. She's going through drama in her own life, and it's as if finding Sarah and apologizing will assuage her guilt? Make her feel she has some power/control over her life because she certainly doesn't with her husband. Nosey nosey nosey.
