Oh no, the speshul FL with her speshul hair whom everyone praises because she’s speshul and solves everything 🫩🙄

Man, this book is annoying. Dull too. Our FL is everything that annoys me in a lead too.

Oooohhhh ML is a learned man who reads Austen which will just make our FL (and probably readers) swooooonnnnnn 🙄🙄 gimme a break 🫩🫩

This lame ETL development is getting on my nerves 🫩🫩 FL is too tbh. I mean, there’s a slight reason she has to DISLIKE him or be wary of the ML, but I feel like if she’s gonna be like this to him, she’s gotta be like it to her cousin too cos she’s seemingly in on it too but ofc she won’t and will magically overlook it 🙄🙄

Nothing I hate more the the FL/ML having an irrational dislike for the other. It reeks of lazy writing just so the ETL dynamic can be fulfilled. Like it’s not that hard to make them dislike each other through interactions smh (in this case it’s the FL for some reason that eludes me not liking the ML despite meeting him…once)

1. Ew the (assumed) ML is called Simon and 2. His surname is ‘Drake’ hmmm, couldn’t be linked to the kind of drake that’s a dragon, right? Righhhhhttt?
