Oh…. I love Borges’ convoluted philosophical stories so much.
But I need to be careful and take them in small doses. Else they easily blend in together or become too much.
Like his labyrinthine plots, he revisits concepts again and again, often from different perspectives in what feel like infinite attempts at cracking open the jar off true meaning.
Need to space them to enjoy them fully as unique stories.

Infuriatingly good and annoying at the same time.
I remember that I loved reading Borges many years ago.
So I started listening to this collection of his short stories…
So many of these are impossible to follow unless you concentrate fully. And even then many are just impossible to follow. They’re not meant to be followed.
Some are just annoying. But others are small miracles. Perhaps more than small.
