Honestly, this book reads like comedy. The conspiracy theories, the cringe writing, the nonsensical plot. It might just be art, unintentionally. The main male guy is a "badass", but reads like a 300 pound neckbeard; he is a "professional" pedophile killer who stalks and rapes the main character in his free time; she is really into this. What am I reading? 400k women gave this five stars. Are we okay? ROMANCE?

But sometimes you just have to read something absolutely awful to make everything else look so much better in comparison; this book is GREAT at that. Seriously, though, the outrage around this getting a movie adaptation was so funny, I was too curious not to give it a shot. Obviously, it's very much not for me. It's not even the content of the plot that offends me; it's the writing itself that is truly something... special.
