Is the god breaking the fourth wall saying “I’m realizing you don’t know the difference” or is this actual character dialogue?

Why did she get so dark she has NO CAUSE besides meeting reality again and again. Poor character development istg.

The book needs to distinguish more clearly the lines between patrons, worshippers, and gravesingers.

Simmering with the need to finish this book. Can I please go more than a chapter without mentions of witches, gravesingers, black/charcoal, touch, prissy princesses, and an emo god named Elric? Oh and the worst offense, chai TEA?! NO NO NO
