chapter seven: ahhhh oh my god yennefer teaching ciri magic and the two of them bonding and becoming more mother-daughter was AMAZINGGG, literally every scene with ciri as a central character is always sooooo good omg <3<3

chapter five: okay dandelion being involved in politics is very interesting, and i like the character of philippa eilhart.
however, geralt what in the actual fuck. dandelion finds geralt with a woman ad they've clearly slept together, okay whatever, but then she's revealed to be 17. 17. geralt what the fuck is wrong with you oh my god. (2/2)

chapter five: geralt getting a letter from ciri who's started her education is adorable omg, she misses him <3 a guy called rience sent some soldiers to find geralt and ciri (who wasn't with him thankfully), very strange and very interesting. dandelion's half of the chapter was wonderful like he always is, he also has a uni degree!! <3 (1/2)

chapter four: geralt, triss, and ciri have set out to see nenneke so ciri can have a normal education, this chapter consisted of triss falling ill, so the trio join a caravan, which is eventually revealed to be a trap for some of the escorts of said caravan. the twist was interesting and highlights the overarching theme of fantasy racism present in the witcher. this book isn't called blood of elves for no reason.

chapter three: ciri getting her training from everyone was a very cute thing. i loveeee the found family she has with the witchers, especially geralt. the growing mystery of ciri's magic that she herself can't control (does she even know about it?) is very interesting so far. still don't like triss, she's really annoying i fear.

chapter two: triss merigold. i like her because she literally went told everyone at KM that they're idiots for not helping with her heavy periods.
i also hate her cause she's obsessed with geralt. she literally assaulted him so WHY is she a romance option in the games??
"she had seduced the witcher - with the help of a little magic." HELLO WHAT. geralt also acts very uncomfortable around her this whole chapter.

chapter one: a BEAUTIFUL start to this series omg. firstly, i hate you nilfgaard i hate them soooooo much. ciri & geralt were so sweet and familial together. ANDDDD yennefer saving dandelion from almost dying and they bond over geralt (their third), tbh i originally said they should be in a polycule as a joke but now i'm seriously thinking about it...

pre-read: blood of elves is the first novel in the actual witcher saga, so these next updates will be per actual chapter rather than just per story. this series concerns ciri's story that was first established and hinted at in the short stories. i loved ciri so i'm hoping the actual series will be good since she's the main focus.
