Just finished the billiard scene. Nobody writes dialog quite like Cormac McCarthy. The way he weaves subtext and character into such naturally flowing lines, even moving between languages in an organic way, to commend it with a cliche would feel disrespectful.

Really loving this one. Neededly more light-hearted than my goat's other works too
