Some of Hari’s ideas are falling flat. Don’t like your job? Well, just become part of a collective. That’ll fix you right up. I’m resentful that this is part of a chapter that begins with the promise of ways we can all infuse our work with meaning. He only gives the collective idea as a solution. Nothing else.

I’m not dealing with depression currently, but I have dealt with it before and so have people I love. I’m very much interested in the lies we’ve been told by Big Pharma and I’m also a big fan of finding hope. Both of these topics are covered in this book.
