Hild the Humble - Michael R. Miller
A short and well told story. But by now I'm tired of all these snippets that are obviously part of a bigger series and don't stand so well on their own.

Fragile Gods - J.D.L. Rosell
Unfortunately, I never felt grounded enough in this fascinating world to really enjoy the story. 10 pages or so more to add depth to it would have been nice.

An unusual villain origin story. The corporate speak mixed up with high fantasy was fun.

The Last Sentinel - Rob J. Hayes
Short and nice atmosphere, honestly don't know what else to say. :"D

Lord of Vengeance - Michael R. Fletcher
Best story so far, with quite some twists and turns for such a short tale. But seriously, what is up with those German words as names? When someone called 'Beschissener Held' turned up I had to fight to keep reading.

The Wanderer - A.C. Cobble
A story I enjoyed by the end, though the musings of our main character felt a bit pointless and overly long in the beginning. Probably the pitfall of putting all the action in the latter half.

Sails at Dusk - Patrick Swenson
To be honest, the modern setting threw me a little at first but it worked really well in contrast to the fantasy element. I enjoyed this little unusual story a lot.

The Darkdancer - Ramón Terrell
Very cool desert setting and interesting magic system, even if the most of the story was a conversation with an unwilling participant.

Curse these Metal Hands by Ben Galley
Solid short work with a story arc and a well built world and everything. A bit wordy but I had a good time.

A Darker Talent by M.L. Spencer
Very interesting short tale that makes me want to read the Dragon Mage really bad. Wish it was longer
