no one told me this book was set in an alternate reality where Japan wins ww2 and becomes the dictatorship the Republic of Greater East Asia. kind of funny this could take place in the same universe as the hunger games/the Capitol with the dictatorships just sort of splitting the world and having their own kids kill each other
