The range of emotions in feeling is overwhelming. I’m sad for Peeta, I’m happy for Finnick, I’m frustrated at Katniss and I’m ANNOYED at Gale.

My favourite person is most definitely Johanna, how is she the most level headed around? Must be the drugs and therapy. Noted.

I seriously like this book way more than catching fire.

Katniss explaining the hanging tree song was so eerie to me. Gale the dumbass used it to get a kiss out of her.

Peeta came in clutch by warning Katniss but also, he’s probably being drained of all his blood for it. I’m heavily invested and cannot put this book down. Operation save Peeta is a go.

Katniss screaming at the camera gave me chills, I’d be doing the same if I saw the hospital I was just in bombed. “Fire is catching” was perfect.

Gale is being very supportive, I see the appeal. Poor Peeta is clearly suffering the consequences of Katniss’ actions.

I don’t trust ANYONE right now, honestly not even Katniss. I’m scared for everyone as well. Even Snow, he has something coming for him…

Everyone’s decided to leave Katniss to her own devices. She is very smart, albeit not so socially smart but I seriously don’t doubt her.

I do however doubt this revolution. You’re telling me they couldn’t find a tribute in the earlier years to be the face of this revolution? I get they needed supplies and time but it’s been 75 years…

Gale having such a naive view on killing people worries me. He had a very passionate attitude towards the cause and district 13, so I understand where he comes from.

However, Katniss showed us how killing someone essentially leaves their soul to hang around and haunt you.

Yet. We need to do some killing…. Let’s push away the fears and make a better world..!?

Hey Katniss, 13 is just another Capital.

Something about her makeup team being there as well, but completely disheveled and unlike themselves gives me the vibe that this isn’t right?

Bring Peeta back please! Even when his life is in the Capitals hands, he’s still on live TV defending his wife. He had a way with painting a picture but he can explain it just as well, loved this note from Katniss.

Wow, simply thrown into grief of lost land, friends and community. First chapter and I’m explained all I need to know. I appreciate the warm up.

Her cat also being well fed which implies it’s had its fair share of human bodies or mouse around. Yikes.
