Jia is irredeemable. I hate non antagonists that claim they’re doing something food the good of the world when really it’s for the good of themselves, I think it’s poor writing to not make feel more like she was doing it for dara instead of trying to win the succession war.

Really boring so far. The story with Zomi is nice but just boring, reading about someone learning is not fun or really interesting. Jias motives to put a coward on the throne is boring too, dislikable character these days. Big drop off from book 1 so far, I’m sure it will heat up
