They have a circle, but the circle doesn’t do anything besides watch her ask questions, decide, and then execute or punish the accused/convicted?
She’s the only one speaking?
This feels in other places like it’s trying for matriarchy and/or tribal council, but it doesn’t have the balance or the shared power around the circle

Having a moment of “wow” at her writing and characters
This is so well done
So entranced with Phine’s story and her past is so real, so dense - she’s a full person
