I enjoyed The Giver, the world, and the growing relationship between Jonas and The Giver. But...I am so bored by this book. I was interested in the beginning and the fight the protagonist put up bit have been bored ever since. If I wasnt promised a bringing together of books 1-3 in book 4, I would have walked away. At this stage, I'm just thankful that the books are rather short.
