I was looking for an easy, semi sleazy summer book, you know, the one that would have a blue alien/beasty/werewolf vibe? A book with a slim plot and a lot of heavy breathing (or more!). So I see this one is recommended and I think “Hey! Give it a go!” and yes, it has the spunky heroine and the sexy monster (merman in this case) and I think “Yep! Fills the bill!”. Until ….spoilers….he kills her father
