Elisabeth’s Reviews > The Women in White > Status Update

"His family would hate her." Because that's really her biggest concern right now?

The story is good but I really dislike the writing style. Too much tell, not enough show. The author over-explains everything and the women all seem like they have arrested development. I feel infantilized just reading this book! Switching to the audiobook at chapter 35 because I don't think I'll be able to force myself to keep reading otherwise.
