I'm beyond fucking sick of how Louise seems to only exist in relation to all the shitty men in this book. Our grandmothers were put in really fucking horrific situation due to colonization and rez life but that doesn't mean they didn't have interior lives and passions. I find this book so utterly insulting to Native women.
