Fuck Jay’s family. This is a good book but ffs they’re insufferable and selfish. I’m sick of them.

This book has no business being as good as it is. I was expecting dumb ocean shenanigans but I got a dysfunctional family and complicated father/son dynamics. I’ve never been so happy to be wrong about a book.
