Our FMC is the worst possible option for a dating show for more than one reason. For me, that made the story more interesting but I could see her pissing readers off. And I have some world building concerns but I think I'll reserve judgment on stuff that feels illogical or downright stupid until I've read book 2.
If you were a fan of the Hunger Games or similar dystopian novels you might like this.
