just finished part 1. i came into this curious to see i'd agree with everyone who dislikes gale and like i thought, i don't. not saying he made the correct decisions, but it's so clear why he does what he does.

WAIT I’m almost at part 3 in my reread and I’m feeling the same thing with Gale. I’ve never stopped and considered his perspective before.

!! i don't think i thought much of it when i first read the books, but i always liked gale. going back into the universe, i was a bit miffed that everyone focused on the "love triangle" more so than his actual character. he really isn't the person the fandom makes him out to be 😭
