Surprisingly good, especially considering how low my expectations were

Wtf happened, how did Ryker replace Ryder?

Ryker meant more to him than a cock and a good lay, but maybe Rue didn’t mean the same.
Yet.
Instead of being upset, he decided to focus on the progress.

~ This is the Sila Love interest reveal but earlier and less subtle, maybe???? I hope so

I don't get why the characters are so weird about ghosts when this is all part of a universe with aliens and sit. Why can't this planet have monsters on it? They could be from any planet really.

“I should have realized sooner you’re this big of a clueless idiot. It would have saved myself years of torment.”
“I don’t know what you want from me,” Rue admitted.
“I’ve gathered that much.'

I thought we were gonna pivot plot wise, but ofc Ryker is still mad

“Do you think I’m like this for anyone else, Rue? Do you think I’m careful with them?” His other hand lifted, and he swept his thumb over Rue’s full bottom lip.
Rue couldn’t hide his confusion. “Ryker?”
“No,” he shook his head once, “you haven’t earned the truth. Not yet. No matter your reasoning, you chose to leave me behind. There are consequences for that, little brother.”

~ Okay this makes more sense

“I don’t know why he said Ryder claims that we were, but we were not dating. Apparently, we slept together, once, but I thought it was you, and—”
Ryker stiffened. “What?”

~ The truth already comes out?!?!? Fuck yeah

My one weakness, a bath scene

“Hollis isn’t even your type.”
“Yeah, but Esti is a total bitch.”
He rolled his eyes. “What’d she do?”
“Broke Souvi Glass’ heart.”
“…Your rival?” Ryker pinched his brow. “Why can’t any of us have normal relationships?”

~ I don't underatand the family/freind tree at all
