I’ve never understood the whole “how dare you date my sister” thing. I get that there are a lot of ways it could get weird, but that’s never the issue in books like this. It’s always the brother unilaterally demanding his friend stay away with the sister getting no input. It’s weird and controlling. And also why are you friends with someone you think would mistreat your sister?
