Annie’s Reviews > Dracula > Status Update

As a 90s evangelically raised kid, the mention of the Carpathian Mountains reminds me of Left Behind and Nicolae Carpathia (AKA The Anti-Christ). Apparently he is Romanian…And I’m beginning to wonder if Tim LaHaye had Dracula in mind when he created the character. He must have… Anyway, I don’t care to revisit those books or the movie. I don’t think it was good literature or film haha.

Keeping my mom-brain s little more active as I read this alongside the Literary Life Podcast. Also it’s kind of funny to read this book by night while nursing.
