reading about covid is so bizarre… literally wtf did we go through? its so strange to read the words of someone going through quarantine after 6 years had passed… 6 YEARS??? THATS INSANE!!! like im freaking out over here bcuz we genuinely haven’t grasped how much our lives then and our lives now have been impacted bcuz of covid

i stumbled upon this book a couple of months ago and when i saw the ‘istanbul’ chapter i immediately turned the pages to see what was up with it.

the first lines read:
“the erasmus exchange had only just started in amsterdam.”

i knew i had to read this book. and having just finished the chapter i bawled my eyes out. i really have no singular original experience whatsoever.
