Puking, shock, bleakness, relative disappointment. I can't wait to finish this already I'm mad and fed up and it's inevitable. I am afraid to say it but I wonder how this is allegedly McCarthy's best.

It gets bleak, it is building up to something, it is driving me nuts. I want to know what happens but I'm unsure I like what will -likely- happen.

I might go a bit insane or finish this book, eventually.

Slowly but surely I am consistently in awe with the environment descriptions like it's a typical western but beautiful. Then comes a sudden crazy wild action or change or moment or finding that breaks the bleakness or silence of that. Shooketh.

When I think I'm getting the hang of it, something wild or weird happens.

Starting good, it takes a moment to get the conversations without markers, punctuation signs or clear difference between the start or end of parts. And with that accent. But once you do, everything going on right away is wild, raw. This is yeehaw country.
