well…anya didn’t sign up to watch over a demon, now did she? pls the car chase/getting into the bar scenes 😭 idk who julian/jude is but something tells me he’s not william de witt’s son but brother maybe? or maybe he is his son idk, this is all feeling like The Book of Night/The Thief of Night by Holly Black to me & im lowkey bored :/ audiobook is wayyy too much fun tho!

why i already know this is gonna feel like if Masters of Death had a baby with Gifted & Talented but it came out looking ENTIRELY like Masters of Death? “you have a devil on your back,” yeah very akin to a premonition! bc that guy from the prologue…yeah he was talking to *something* in his head + got up like he was arisen so… yeah 😭 also reading the audiobook bc i was advised to at her book signing <3
