I would suggest not reading this in audiobook format because the multiple narrators thing is NOT working smoothly. Other than the excessive use of adjectives (like GIRL…chill out…), I’m enjoying this so far. I am worried that the romance plots are going to be the “super shitty guy ends up secretly being “nice” and girl forgets how shitty and violent he was” sort of trope. We shall see…

The precise thing I was worried about happening has happened. Why does so much romantasy glamorize abusive behaviour as sexy 😭 he’s on the “good side”? Okay he still treated her like shit ????!!
