oh look another surprise solution that was presented chapters ago without the readers' knowledge!

this is a world full of immortal beings with near god-like power.... why the hell would they need to summon demons from another dimension to defeat a human rebellion????? this actually makes zero sense.

UGH why does sjm make all of her main characters solve problems and plan things off page?!?! its actually an infuriating writing choice. Bryce is literally Aelin's twin sister asf. i'm annoyed.

this is so stupid 😭

1. All of Ruhn's chapters read as if SJM is being forced to include them. So far he has been nothing but a great character introduction followed by a bunch of needless nonsense. I'm beyond disappointed lol.

2. This book feels like SJM ripping off her own books??? We are all up in Crown of Midnight and Heir of Fire's nachos rn.

3. I hate mysteries where every character sucks at solving mysteries. Everybody is pmo.
