I'm really sad that all my former comments got lost somehow :( I've been reading this for almost 3 months now :(
but basically the gist of this entire book is that I love it and it is as good as the musical AND I get to know the characters so much better and the writing is beautiful I just wish EL Doctorow believed in commas
about to start "what a game" scene very excited

this is definitely becoming one of my favorite books ugh it is just so good
up until this point i haven’t wished i read the book first until just now when the “baron ashkenazy” is introduced and you as the reader have to figure out that it’s tateh and you haven’t read ab tateh in a few chapters UGH just so good
