I read this years ago when my roommate loaned it to me. She was college friends with the author! It was interesting but I got confused and never finished the series. I'm interested to see what you think of it.

Oh interesting! Well I'm about two thirds in and have resigned myself to the fact that the main character is going to stay incredibly unlikeable and self-centered haha
